How To Post Your Farm Photo To Our Facebook Group
We have experimented in numerous ways, in order to find the best way for you to post your farm photo's within this group. There were various ways, but in order for your photo to go into the group photo's, which we hope will act as a gallery for members to visit, the instructions that I am about to give you, are the best option.
I know that many of you will know how to take a photo of your farm, which, in turn is uploaded to your own personal albums, but I will still start from that point, for those of you who do not.
Taking A Photo Of Your Farm
1. Go to your farm, and make sure that you are on the farm that you wish to photograph.
2. Click on your toolbox, and then click on the "camera" icon, which is at the bottom of the first column (on the left) .
3. A box will pop up and you will see two choices. "Farm" or "Window" You need to make sure that you select "Farm" There is also a caption box, where you can write a comment if you wish, but this is entirely up to you. You should then click "next"
4. At this point, if you have never taken a photo of your farm before, you will get the following message " You need to authorize Farm Town to upload photo's to your Farm Town Album. This is only required for your first photo. Do you want to grant that access now?" You should click the green tick.
5. A permissions box will pop up and you should click "allow." You will then be asked to click the green tick to continue, and you should do this.
6. You will then get an "uploading" box, followed by the message "Your photo has been published to your wall, and to your Farm Town Album. You will then need to click the green tick again..
7. Your farm picture will now appear in your "photo's" within its own album entitled "Farm Town Photo's. In future, all further pictures, can be taken without the need for "allowing permissions" and will also go directly to your Farm Town Photo's album.

Posting Your Photo To The Group Photo Gallery
1. Go to the group wall. Click on "Add Photo/Video" which is directly above the "write something" box. Then click on "Upload Photo/Video"
2. Your box will now be split into two halves. In the first half, you can write a description of your farm, and maybe include your farm link, so that members can visit. Often, the photo's do not do the farm justice. If you need help to get your farm link, then please contact a member of admin, who will only be too pleased to help.
3. Once you have typed your comment, you should then click on "Choose File" . Once again, a box will pop up, and you will need to find your farm photo, which you will have previously saved (ie, click "pictures" on the left, and then scroll down through your pictures, until you find your farm photo).
4. When you have found your farm photo, Click on it, and then click "open" (bottom left hand corner)
5. You should then click on "Post" . Your farm will now be posted to the group wall, and will also appear in the Group Photo's.
Should you require any help with posting your photo to the group wall/photo's, an admin will be only too pleased to help you. Please don't hesitate to ask for help. That is what we are here for.
Members are not limited to the amount of photo's that they wish to post. If you wish to post more than one photo, then just repeat the steps above, for each photo. I'm sure most members would appreciate having a huge selection to view, than just an odd few.
We look forward to seeing your work!!
