How To Stack Facilities To Allow More Room On Your Farm
There is a way to stack facilities, using your storage, and hiding buildings etc. I will give instructions for this a little later.
However, if you should have the Green Freestyle Designer Tool (Hand), this will make your life a lot easier, and opens up, endless opportunities.
With this tool, you have a few options available to you. You can use it to put your facilities on top of each other, therefore allowing a huge amount of room on your farm, and then maybe hiding it with tree's. We can now load and collect from our facilities, using the facility manager, so stacking facilities, is not a problem.
Alternatively, if you want to decorate your farm, by using some of the facilites available, but still want or need the less attractive facilities on your farm, then you can place a more attractive building, on top of it. This does call for a bit of trial and error, to find the right building, but once done, it allows you to to have, what you want, where you want. The less attractive buildings are normally the buildings we need the most, and it can be annoying to have to have them on your farm. Now with the green tool, you can cover them with a more attractive facility or even a building, so that you can continue to decorate your farm , in the way you have chosen.
Although there are two Freestyle Designer tools (orange and green), once you have the green tool, you will only need to use that one, as it does the work of the orange tool as well. Therefore, you can put buildings, decorations etc into water.
If you don't have these tools and want to stack your facilities, then here are the instructions:
Firstly, make the farm that you wish to stack facilities on, your default farm. If you already have facilities on your farm that you wish to stack, make sure that they are as empty as possible, then place them all into storage.
This method works better if you use a corner section of your farm, as it makes it much easier to keep on placing the facilities in the exact same spot (right in the corner of your choice!).
Once you have placed all your facilites into storage, and have determined and cleared what section of your farm that you are planning on using, you are ready to start stacking!
1) Click the wrench at the top, right hand corner of the page and select 'hide buildings'.
2) Take your single plow and plow one field. Once you have done that, delete that field.
3) Take one of your facilities out of storage and place it in the corner of your farm. Click 'Save' and refresh your screen.
Repeat steps 2 and 3, until you have retrieved all of your facilities from storage. You can only do one facility at a time. You must refresh after each one.
If you struggle to place any facilities onto your farm, ensure that you have plowed one field and have deleted it. Occasionally you may find that you have to move your cursor a fraction away from where you placed the previous facility in order to be able to place it onto your farm.
If you are doing this on a farm that doesn't have any facilities on, and you are planning on buying them from the store, simply follow the above instructions but change Step 3 to 'Go to store, select what facility you would like to buy, and place it in the corner of your farm'. Click 'Save and refresh your screen'.
